"Mark was our lead guy at Brown on distribution having worked in our Woodstock plant for 28 years. He is extremely knowledgeable on Co mail, Copalletization, buying freight, postage rates for various classes of mail, freight rates and negotiating with Fairrington and ALG, 2 of the biggest providers of these services. He ran all the programs at Brown where we set up costs and did regular analysis for trucking multiple jobs to both ALG and Fairrington from 3 plants, MN, PA and IL. Mark created customer facing invoicing, summary sheets, and managed process of getting customer jobs to the comail/copal facilities and distributing for most efficient cost both for Brown "internally" in what we paid our vendors for processing and freight and for our customers "externally" in how cost competitive we could be in the marketplace. As an aside, Mark is also a bindery and inkjet master. He started the first perpendicular to spine inkjet heads on pocket feeders in Woodstock and was involved for many years in buying, installing and moving inkjet technology to serve our largest and most complex customers for multiple address and image locations serving multiple versions."
